Suddenly sad

Taking the long drive to Swellendam today left me feeling empty for some or other reason. For some or other reason I was questioning the value of my work. While I'll never jeopardize my income for my family, I wonder whether I'm not limiting myself...
I've decided to embark on a mission to find a mentor willing to impart any money making skills to me.
I of all people have always believed that it's not all about money -no doubt. But, my time is becoming more valuable to me; I simply have to find greater earning power, financial freedom - as cliched as it sounds.
Well, the soothing sounds of Jason Upton's Beautiful People and also Misty Edward, helped tremendously.
The business of 6 children this evening didn't help much, neither did some awkwardness in trying to arrange our term end home cell social.
Perhaps the stress of our church's condition is only now getting to me, were it not for leading the worship team; who knows...

Tomorrow we'll be getting 2 boxer (not 100% breed) puppies!!
