Disappointment

Oh disillusion is unpleasant, to say the least.
When you discover what you thought was true about a relationship turns out to be only your own interpretation of your perception.
It's just all the more exacerbated when its a spiritual relation with someone who is supposed to be trying to take the higher moral road.
But, to discover that an activity that one expends copious amounts of time and energy in, is casually criticized and openly exposed for wider scrutiny.
What tremendous disappointment when one sees that issues you thought were resolved at previous conflicts are regurgitated afresh as if no waters have passed beneath that bridge.
When you finally see, you're grappling with the same issues secular society is absorbed in, you realize;
You coalesced relation is no better than any other, it is only marked different by more abstract ideals...
