Chatting at last

Today something unusual happened, my wife finally used her brothers home
ADSL connection to chat with me. I spent a good measure of time chatting
to our guitarist about why the congregation struggles to freely worship,
we also discussed the tension between musical skill and spiritual
maturity, that often exists in the Christian music ministry.
But it was so nice to have a "window" into my wife's world through this
online chat. We discussed a few things and even agreed and concluded a
few matters. Definitely a "DIFFERENT" dimension to an existing relation
to operate on that level also. Well music rehearsal really rocked. We
had communion, and prayed and our pianist shared 2 Pet 5 regarding what
I prayed about humility. We did Chris Tomlin's "Sing, Sing, Sing" it
really rocked and the team loves it. It was the first time in as long a
time that the team spontaneously continued to play a song after all the
songs were rehearsed, just for the pure enjoyment of it. Tree63's "JOY"
in C & D was also a whole lot of fun as well as "Touch the nations";
"Let Your kingdom come" (our Item song) and "Abba Father". Concluded
with Retief Burger's "Alles".
Jethro came with tonight, my wife kept him home to spend time with him
and bond, and he insisted on coming with.
Fortunately he behaved himself well. At the age of 3 and a half he has
got his own proper rhythm going there on the drums, when everyone was
finished and he could at last have a turn. I'm convinced more than ever
before that I must get him a proper drum kit as an upgrade of the
miniature set he has.
22h15 got to get to bed now
